Thomas Mann designs contemporary jewelry and sculpture. His approach to making jewelry objects combines industrial materials with romantic images to create a design system he calls Techno.Romantic®. Elements from machines, electronic instruments, costume jewelry pieces, old postcards and photos are the design inspiration for Techno.Romantic®. These recurring but ever-changing parts, collaged with non-precious metals, give the work its story-telling quality and theatrical appeal.

Thomas Mann lives and works in New Orleans, Louisiana where he oversees a jewelry studio, sculpture studio, and two gallery stores. A 28 year veteran of the American Craft scene, Mann currently exhibits his jewelry and sculpture in more than 200 galleries in the US and around the world.
