Kingfish Pin | KINGFISH Early in his career as Governor of Louisiana, Huey P. Long acquired the nickname "KINGFISH." The name came from the fictitious leader of "The Mystic Knights of the Sea," a character on the popular radio show Amos & Andy. This pin, designed by Thomas Mann, is a rendition of the Kingfish pin that Huey Long presented to supporters as a token of his esteem and thanks. This pin was given to the film crew of "Kingfish," which was filmed in New Orleans and stars John Goodman.
