Working with different scales had begun back when I was in college, making
jewelry to pay my tuition and making sets for my Major in Performing Arts. I
still use models for the basis of all my ideas, but with mirrors, the models are
made as pieces of jewelry, then transposed to large steel rods and mirrored
glass. This investigation into scale has been the basis for the Space Frame
Mirror series. So far the direct correlation of design, but different scales,
has been a success.
